Der Stil der ersten beiden Alben war Trip-Hop, ab Planetary Confinement (2005) Alternative \/ Dark Rock. Antimatter bezeichnet sich selbst als &#8222;traurigste Band der Welt&#8220;. 2005 verlie\u00df Patterson Antimatter und Moss werkelte von jetzt an &#8222;alleine&#8220; an &#8222;Leaving Eden&#8220;. Stattdessen lud er Danny Cavangha als Gastmusiker ein &#8211; auch von Anathema. Die restlichen Songs fallen nicht ab (&#8222;Freak Show&#8220;, unbedingt anh\u00f6ren!), gerne als ganzes h\u00f6ren! Ich habe selten ein Album geh\u00f6rt, das mich mit seiner Melancholie so gefangen hat. Selbst &#8222;Forever Autumn&#8220; von Lake Of Tears, ein hervorragendes Album, packt mich nicht wie &#8222;Leaving Eden&#8220; es kann. Auf Vinyl klingt es runder und konturierter. Es gibt keine Kratzer. Leider ist nicht nur mein Exemplar deutlich verzogen. Zwar klingt sie hervorragend, jedoch ist es mal wieder eine neue Vinyl, die verzogen ist.
