„Rosa“
Ram/Hard Rock. CD, 2024.
V2/Bertus kindly made this CD available to me.

In 2017, Tim Leyman (vocals, guitar), Tom Leyman (drums), and Hannes Cuyvers (vocals, bass) founded Ramknot in Ghent, Belgium. "Rosa" is the band's second album. The style has been described as ram rock. I consider it more like rock and hard rock. Rough and powerful, yet less heavy than their first album.

The 10 songs are quite short; at over seven minutes, "To Late" is the longest and, with its stoner elements, my first highlight. "I Think I've Gone Slowly Insane" is hard and heavy. "Claim To Fame" is highlight number three.

Ramknot don't sound mainstream, somehow old-fashioned and modern at the same time. Hard, raw, stoner, and at times even civilized. In fact, the CD took a few spins to sink in. Alternative hard rock with stoner elements. Guitar, bass, and drums. Recommended for all rock fans.
