In 2015, Antimatter released their sixth studio album, "The Judas Table". Since album number four, "Leaving Eden", the band has consisted only of Mick Moss and guest musicians. "The Judas Table" was highly praised by critics at the time, and for me, it's one of the best albums of 2015. Antimatter delivered another dark, melancholic work. A violin or acoustic guitar is essential. Atmospheric melancholy is something Mick Moss masters.

The limited edition CD digibook includes a second CD with commentary on each song. This is interesting to me; those who don't need it are better off with the regular version, which is cheaper (but then they won't have the digibook format).

Personally, I always find it difficult to pick highlights from Antimatter. All the songs are simply too good. Mick Moss's strength lies in his ability to always find the perfect musical vehicle for the mood. However, “Black Eyed Man”, “Killer”, “Little Piggy” and “The Judas Table” are my top picks from the album’s ten songs.

The sound quality of the CD is, as always with Antimatter, excellent. It's also no secret that Mick Moss has a beautiful singing voice. However, those who dislike darker songs and melancholy should steer clear. For everyone else, I can wholeheartedly recommend giving it a listen.
