Hergest Ridge

After the magnificent Tubular Bells came Hergest Ridge. And I just can't connect with "Pt. II". I don't like to categorize it as prog either. Read my sacrilege here.
Mike Oldfield's "QE2" was released in 1980. It features many guest musicians (including Phil Collins and Maggie Reilly). Technically superb. Is that enough for me?

2022 – Porcupine Tree released a new album after 13 years. Technically perfect, a good album. Has PT evolved?
What looked like the end of PT got a new album in 2022, Closure/Continuation. The worthy live offshoot came in 2023. Perfect or more? Clear vinyl.
In 1997, the live album Coma Divine, featuring recordings of the Rome concerts, was released. It marked the gradual transition from psychedelic to prog rock.

In 2001, "Recordings" was released. It contained everything that hadn't made it onto the two previous albums.
In 1996, Signify was released, the first album that was developed by the entire band together. The PT project became the band PT.
